When he finds a lost beagle behind his home in the hills of West Virginia, Marty is forced to return the dog to its rightful owner, a mean-spirited man known for killing deer out of season and mistreating his dogs. When the dog shows up a couple of days later at Marty’s house, Marty hides the dog, determined keep him as his own. Marty experiences unconditional love like never before but is faced with many difficult decisions and challenges. Marty learns to stand up for himself and the dog he named Shiloh.
